Upcycled Metal Cabinet

This repurposed office cabinet is transformed into the perfect shed storage solution with the help of Tremclad paint in a fun fresh hue!

BEFORE

Materials

•Metal cabinet

Krud Kutter Cleaner and Degreaser

The Must For Rust cleaner

Tremclad spray paint in Gloss Green

•Lint-free rags

•Plastic drop cloth

•All necessary safety equipment (ie. Protective eyewear, mask, latex gloves etc)

•Rust-Oleum Comfort Grip spray paint attachment (HIGHLY recommended)

How To

•Start by throughly cleaning all metal surfaces with Krud Kutter Cleaner and Degreaser to remove any dirt

*If there is any rust on the metal surface, treat with The Must For Rust to remove and inhibit future rust from forming

•Once all surfaces are completely clean and dry, move cabinet to a well ventilated location, ensuring all surrounding areas are covered with drop cloths where over-spraying may occur

•Wearing gloves and a filtered face mask, shake the Tremclad thoroughly, attached the Comfort Grip handle, and then apply the first light coat of paint by passing back-and-forth quickly and smoothly. The best results are achieved when several very light coats are applied instead of one or two heavy coats which will cause drips.

•When the first coat is dry, apply additional coats in the same manner until full coverage is achieved

•Avoid moving the cabinet until the paint finish has thoroughly dried and hardened
