1 kitchen + 8 weeks + 6 DIY projects = MY ONE ROOM CHALLENGE REVEAL!!!

When I set out to transform this bland 80’s builder-grade kitchen, my timeline was tight and budget was even tighter, but as I ALWAYS say… “Great style has little to do with how much money you have, but rather how creative you can be with your budget”.

So, that’s exactly what I did!  I rolled up my sleeves, got VERY creative with paint, and gave nearly EVERY SINGLE SQUARE INCH a fresh coat to create a no-demo-reno “modern cucina”.

Melamine Cabinets… are the same, but got some DIY trim detail, new hardware, and PAINT!

Laminate Countertops… are the same, but got a fresh coat of Mica fleck PAINT!

Ceramic Floor Tiles… are the same, but got transformed with a stencil and PAINT!

Backsplash… got covered up with faux brick panels, plaster and PAINT!

Shelves… were customized with stain and Metal Effects PAINT!

Bench… was upcycled using Chalked PAINT!
